Silver Ranks (32.5% of players):

• Silver 1: 4.2%
• Silver 2: 4.3%
• Silver 3: 4.4%
• Silver 4: 5.3%
• Silver Elite: 6.6%
• Silver Elite Master: 7.7%

Gold Nova Ranks (34.4% of players):

• Gold Nova 1: 8.6%
• Gold Nova 2: 8.8%
• Gold Nova 3: 8.9%
• Gold Nova Master: 8.1%

Master Guardian Ranks (23.3% of players):

• Master Guardian 1: 7.5%
• Master Guardian 2: 6.5%
• Master Guardian Elite: 5.2%
• Distinguished Master Guardian: 4.1%

Legendary Ranks (9.8% of players):

• Legendary Eagle: 3.2%
• Legendary Eagle Master: 3.2%
• Supreme Master First Class: 2.6%
• Global Elite: 0.8%

Regional differences exist, with North America and Oceania having more players in Silver ranks (over 50%) compared to Europe. Prime Status ($15) provides access to better matchmaking and helps maintain a healthier rank distribution by reducing smurfs and cheaters.

The ranking system has evolved through updates, with the August 2022 matchmaking update significantly improving balance and competitiveness, particularly in Europe and North America.

FACEIT levels 1-3 correspond roughly to Silver 1 through Master Guardian 2, while levels 6-10 align with Global Elite rank. Valorant's system is similar but features 22 ranks compared to CS2's 18.
