Arms Race is available in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) as part of the casual game modes. This fast-paced mode challenges players to progress through different weapons by securing kills, ultimately aiming to win with a Golden Knife kill.

The mode can be accessed through the "Matchmaking" section under casual game modes in the main menu. Currently, three maps are available:

• Baggage: A compact airport baggage claim setting
• Shoots: A Mexican-themed map (reimagined from CS:GO's Vietnam setting)
• Pool Day: A community map centered around a swimming pool

How Arms Race Works:

• Players start with basic weapons
• Each kill advances you to the next weapon
• Final kill must be made with the Golden Knife
• Mode doesn't affect competitive ranking

Tips for Success:

• Maintain aggressive playstyle
• Use knife kills to disrupt opponents
• Practice with unfamiliar weapons
• Learn map layouts for spawn prediction
• Plan ambush strategies for Golden Knife kills

While several classic CS:GO Arms Race maps (like Lake and Safehouse) haven't been transferred to CS2 yet, Valve may add more maps in future updates as they continue refining the game.
